The City of South Miami is excited to begin planning efforts for Ludlam Glades Park. This park will be an improvement to the neighborhood by enhancing recreational opportunities and quality of life in South Miami.
Once complete, this park will be many things to many people and will need to be compatible with the surrounding neighborhood. A preliminary concept plan has been developed based on internal input so far, however, as your neighborhood park, you will guide the final concept development.
As a neighborhood park, some features are more appropriate for large community parks than others. Before completing the online survey, please read below for more information on Ludlam Glades Park considerations.
The Parks & Recreation Department wants to be sure Ludlam Glades Park is enjoyable for both residents and visitors of the surrounding neighborhood.
This online survey provides an opportunity for you to identify features within the current park concept plan you like and those you may not. We are also asking you to give us your thoughts on other items that may be included in the park or substituted, such as a basketball court substitution, butterfly gardens, or educational area.
Some features will not be constructed in the park. These include (but not limited to) a dog park, restroom facilities, pool or splash pad, recreation facility, and nighttime lighting.
Please keep these in mind when completing the survey and sharing thoughts on what you would like to see at the Ludlam Glades Park!
South Miami currently offers 12 parks and 3 facilities for residents and visitors to enjoy.
In addition to managing parks, the department offers a range of programs and activities.
